The TK17 at an angle: a black board with a gold-plated border, a black and white lever microswitch lying flat along the far edge with a flat metal lever reaching past it, two small resistors and a tiny LED in the middle, two big mounting holes, lonely binary along the left edge, a boxed DIGITAL along the right, and a right-angle four-pin header along the near edge labelled GND, VCC, NC and SIGNAL.3D

Collision Sensor

A lever microswitch with its 10 kΩ pull-down and a red hit light already fitted: SIGNAL reads HIGH while the lever is pushed in. The bumper for a TinkerBlock robot, and the sense that never reports a wall that is not there.

Lever
1.4mm of travel to click, about
Pull-down
10kΩ fitted, a hit reads HIGH
VCC
3.3or 5 V, to match your board
Wires
3GND, VCC, SIGNAL

Turn it over and see the three holes to wire: GND, VCC and SIGNAL. VCC sets the voltage SIGNAL reads on a hit, so match it to your board. NC is connected to nothing.

Point a phone camera at the code and this page opens there. It is the same address as the one printed on your box, so it is also what to show someone you are passing the board to.
