The TK12 at an angle: a black board with a gold-plated border, a tiny surface-mount thermistor inside a boxed outline near the top beside a thermometer icon, a resistor and a capacitor below it, ANALOG printed on the edge, two big mounting holes, and a right-angle four-pin header labelled GND, VCC, NC and SIGNAL.3D

NTC Thermistor

A 10 kΩ NTC thermistor in a divider with a fixed 10 kΩ: SIGNAL is half of VCC at 25 °C and falls as it warms. Read it on any analog pin and turn it into degrees with two lines of arithmetic.

At 25 °C
10kΩ, ±1 %
B
3950K
VCC
3.3or 5 V, to match your board
Wires
3GND, VCC, SIGNAL

Turn it over and see the three holes to wire: GND, VCC and SIGNAL. SIGNAL is half of VCC at 25 °C and falls as it warms, so match VCC to your board.

Point a phone camera at the code and this page opens there. It is the same address as the one printed on your box, so it is also what to show someone you are passing the board to.
