The TK29 at an angle: a black board with a wide gold border, a black four-way socket marked IN overhanging the top edge, a small slide switch marked H and L, an eight-pin chip, a blue square trimmer in the middle, a small LED, chevrons on the right, and a right-angle four-pin header at the bottom marked OUT.3D

Analog to Digital Signal

An LM393 comparator on a TinkerBlock board: plug an analog block into the IN socket, set a threshold with the blue knob, and DIG tells your board whether the block's voltage is above or below it. The block's own voltage passes through on ANA, and a slide switch printed H and L turns the answer over.

Switch
H or LHIGH above or below the knob
Inputs work to
1.8V from 3.3 V
Hysteresis
Noneso a slow input chatters
VCC
3.3or 5 V, to match your board

Turn it over and see both rows: IN takes an analog block's header, OUT gives your board GND, VCC, the comparator's DIGITAL and the input's ANALOG. The blue knob sets the threshold.

Point a phone camera at the code and this page opens there. It is the same address as the one printed on your box, so it is also what to show someone you are passing the board to.
